When doing circle dances:
16 beats clock wise (walking) holding hands. Then turn around, walk for 16 beats the other way. Music will change (and count eight beats in- take a little bow) and walk backwards out of the circle. Repeat this again- eight beats in, take a bow and walk backwards out of circle. The back to 16 beats clockwise, 16 beats anti-clockwise, 8 beats walk into circle, 8 beats walk out of circle (repeat), repeat these patterns until song is finished.
